Ericha who was our host at the Bellefontain House helped get us into this one as well. She contacted Andrew who is a member of the historical society that handles the house. We met up with him and got the tour. Once again another place loaded with history. The original part of this structure was nothing more than a stagecoach stop. After that it grew into many other things. For more on that you would need to contact Andrew or take a tour. We set up and began as usual. We split into groups and started our investigation. Nelson, Adam ans Shane started in the basement and were joined by Ericha and Andrew. In the basement there were many experiences for everyone. Ericha had asked if she should go ans Nelson and Adam both heard a quiet "yes". It also was captured on audio. The second time she asked, it was the same. She went upstairs. We all felt cold spots and cold rushing past us. There was no wind. We had the K-II going off and decided to see if the energy was strong enough to turn the flashlight off. It was and did so a couple of times. All the way upstairs Steve and Kim were having a successful question and answer session with a ghost meter. It would light up and beep with some of there questions. The entire night there was something walking around on the first floor. At one point we heard some footsteps while in the basement and Shane went up to check it out. He started to walk and something slammed on the floor behind him. This kind of activity lasted the entire investigation. Needless to say, the place has activity. We came out with some very good EVP's and look forward to having more investigations here.
