We were called by the parents of a young girl who was experiencing a great deal of activity. She was afraid to sleep in her own room. We actually went out there a few weeks prior and only spent a couple of hours to see if we could find anything. We came up empty except for one experience. Nelson was sitting on the floor and heard what sounded like paper being crumpled up. Adam was sitting across the room and heard the same thing. We didn't find anything on audio or video from that session. We were called back and did a full investigation. The girl had been keeping a journal and had written about a crumpling paper sound. That was something we did not tell anybody about that when that happened. We had no experiences at all the second time. We feel if something was around, it was hiding from us. We suggested they tell whatever was there to get out the first time. The did just that and their daughter has since moved back into her room.

This was an older house on the block where more than a few people had claims. As we were setting up the DVR cameras one that was in a hot spot moved to the left for no reason that we could find. This actually happened a few times during the night. Adam and nelson heard disembodied voices a couple of times. They also had a few cold spots. We feel that most of the activity has to be centered around the children who we did not let stay during the investigation. Despite the lack of activity that night we did come away with a few EVP's that were strange. During the revel the homeowner was happy to know that we felt nothing mean was in the house. So here it is a month and a half and her activity has increased to the point that the children are no longer living in the house. We are going back with a full crew.

This is a historic location that is well worth the the trip. The ladies that run the place are great fun and know every little bit of history on the place. They run their own investigations every weekend. It did not take very long at all for the personal experiences to start staking up. We were given a tour of the house before we started. Right away several of us were hearing voices and being touched. Shane had heard several times what he thought was children playing during the set up. In the basement in the little round room that held slaves Adam was touched. We ended up with EVP's that seemed to be residual as well as intelligent. We also caught the door to the attic closing then opening then closing tight about an hour later. This is a fantastic location and we will be back again. Everyone should check this this place out. Another very nice place to check out. We were not the first investigation group to check this place out. With claims of activity in every part of the farm we set up as much as we could.  One of the things that happened here was a murder. There is also a slave cemetery on the grounds. There have been reports of apparitions on just about every part of the grounds by the caretakers as well as visitors.  We did have mass battery drain every where we went. We wanted to wander a little further away from the barns that night but were held back by the bugs. We caught some really good EVP's. We will be going back in the fall for a larger scale investigation. It is a pretty cool place to check out in the daylight as well. Facebook link

                                                                          Blanca's Corner 2nd time DuQuoin Illinois

This building is still under renovation which makes it an ideal place to investigate. We set up and began. We tried to get some of the same things to happen that we experienced last time. We all heard footsteps upstairs when everyone was downstairs.Several time we also heard footsteps on the front stairs as well. Shane had seen a shadow and had the K-II in the red as he walked after it. Several times we heard voices. We were unable to recreate the first video we took there, so that still leaves us wondering what it actually was. We did capture on DVR a video that we can not explain. In one of the back rooms upstairs right after Shane and Christina walked through, what we thought was dust swirls up. It looks like a snow globe. We checked the camera and wires and there was no dust on it what so ever. So we did come out with some EVP's and the knowledge that the maze of rooms upstairs is still active. Claims of activity : Loud bangs, full bodied apparitions, movement of objects,unidentifiable whispers and talking, shadows.

The residence of this house are the first to stay for any length of time. All previous owners moved our rather suddenly. We set up and began the investigation. All night long Adam had felt something touching him. We all saw a shadow pass behind Adam in the living room but did not get it on video. We all tried to find out who the spirit was including the home owner. We did come out with some EVP's but no real answers. The home owners are not afraid of who ever the spirits are in the house. They do feel eventually they will have answers

 This was a different case in the fact we were doing two houses at one time. The client was living in a neighbors house and had been for almost three years because she was afraid to live in her own home. The claims were in both houses. We set up and investigated both houses and found no evidence of any paranormal activity. In the neighbors house there was a claim about something crawling into the bed with the home owner. A child had died in this house a number of years ago. Nelson laid down in the bed and had a strange experience. He started to smell rotting meat. Then he heard a growl. The next morning after the case his daughter noticed scratches on his right arm. We caught nothing on the HI8 or the two recorders that sounded like a growl or anything else for that matter. He never felt anything touch him. The man that owned this house never had anything like that happen. We reassured the homeowner that it was safe to move back into her own home. She has since called us and said the activity was going on again in her house.

What a great location this is with a ton of history. Link to the Campbell House click MUSEUM.   We toured the location and began the setup. While setting up Adam heard a whisper in his ear that said " YEAH " . We noticed all the shiny objects and mirrors that would play havoc on our pictures. Adam and Nelson began the first EVP session up on the third floor outside what was once the nursery. Then worked there way down. We all noticed a strange floating EMF field throughout the building. We had several K-II sessions that seemed to go well. We also had the walkie talkies making a static noise after most of the questions we asked. Several of the investigators saw movement by the HI8 that was set up outside what was once the nursery. That same HI8 also caught an EVP of a woman crying.                                                                              Defiance The second time  UPDATE



 We came back to the house to do some more investigating. We started by going to a neighbors house. They had an old slave cemetery on the land. We checked that out
and then took a tour of the house where we got a few evp's. Then we took a long walk to Nathanial Boons country house. We crossed the river we think the evp's told us about. Then back the the house we went to start a very long night of investigation. One of the things that happened right away was battery drain on several cameras. Then we started to get the powder smell in the living room. Nelson and Chuck were on the back patio and Adam walked out and he smelled like the powder for about two minutes then we could smell it in the center of the patio for about a minute. It followed us back in the house. In the basement we all saw a black misty shadow at different times. Brandy Adam and Anne Marie all had something mess with their left ears. Several of us heard whispers. No photos or video that we could call solid but we did get a few evp's. And battery drain again when we returned with the evidence. This house and the land it is on is very active. Nothing that we would say is harmful. Its a fun location with great clients. We will go back again some time. We still have to check out the river.

  We were asked by the owner of the house to come back and see if we could actually get an answer as to who is in her house and help her make them leave. Right away we started to notice little bits of activity here and there. Anne Marie and Ted were hearing  something in the hallway walking around. Adam and Nelson were in the basement and everybody heard footsteps on the basement steps. One of the motion sensors went off during an EVP session in the same room as the session. Everyone heard a female voice that night but could not make out what was being said. We did come up with a strange photo on the full spectrum camera. We sent the photo back to the makers of the camera to see if they could shed some light on it. The photo was not like any they had encountered during their own investigations. We did have something strange captured on the HI8 as well. Something had blurred the camera off and on for about ten minutes like something was in front of it. We do not know what caused it. We also had several EVP's that we posted. We went back to the client to help find a route that she was comfortable with by way of fixing her situation.

Claims of activity : Doors opening, bumps and thumps on the ceiling and a strange photo.

 Basically we went in to find out if anything had followed the family from the previous location they had lived in. The photo they let us see we could not recreate or explain. All of the noises in the house were very random. Some were created by family pets and others we could not explain.   We had no activity on video, photo or audio.  We got back in touch with the homeowner and let her know what went on and our lack of findings and she did inform us of other activity that had been happening. We feel if there was something in the house it stayed away from us. The client feels there is nothing to fear.

Claims of Activity : Strange feelings of being watched, doors closing, sounds of shuffling, shadows, voices and full bodied apparitions

 We were called to Defiance by the homeowners to find out what was going on in there house. The land they built their house on was once an Indian camp ground. Also connected to their is one of Nathaniel Boons houses.We set up in the house. Our group was in the dinning room when out of nowhere, it sounded like thousands of crickets were in the house but it only lasted a few seconds. We couldn't explain that. When we started the blinds in the daughters room were open and at some point they shut. At one point Adam was standing in the kitchen when the sound of pots and pans falling or shifting was heard. He did not bump anything. In the basement Dan and Nelson heard what they described as a little girl talking but they could not make out what she was saying. Adam was in the basement when he saw a shadow figure pass from right to left in a room he was in. Later in the evening Nelson was hearing full sentences being spoken close to him but couldn't make out what was being said. Several investigators heard growls that night and caught what sounds like a cat on audio. There was no cat. All of the investigators could smell the strong scent of a perfume that was moving through out the house. The homeowners said that happens all the time. We did leave with some good EVP's. Two of those left us puzzled. After the reveal were invited back to do some more investigating. So we went back for more. The results of that will be posted soon.

Claims of activity : Lights turning on, items being moved, a strange mist appearing.

 This investigation was a bit of a challenge due to the fact it was a condo. Any and all noise had to be carefully accounted for. We had a few small experiences in the place. Adam had felt like he had been touched several times. Anne Marie and Brandy were in one of the bedrooms and kept seeing shadows moving. Anne Marie heard a hello when she walked into the bedroom. We got that on video along with a breath that she did not hear. At one point Adam Anne Marie and Brandy were all in the main bedroom with a digital thermometer and had the temperature drop by a few degrees on command. There was allot bumps and thumps that we could say were for sure neighbors but some were not. The owner seemed to think that what was in his condo was his mother but we had no real answer for him by way of who.

  The owner of this house was concerned about what was going on in her house. One day she was going downstairs to her office when she felt something grab her leg and trip her down the stairs. Another time she was awakened by something hovering over her when she was trying to sleep. It was a very quiet night in the house, but we did experience some activity. Everyone who sat in the living room heard out of place noises. Everything from tapping to shuffling. Adam felt like he was grabbed on his leg. We also heard a couple of disembodied voices that we did not catch on audio. In the basement where we had a recorder set up, after reviewing it, you could hear something tap it. The same thing with one of the HI 8 cameras. We did not come out with any pictures but did get a few EVP's. We told the homeowner we did feel there was some kind of activity going on in her house and gave her a few options as to how to handle her situation.

                                     Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home  St Jacob Illinois
Claims of activity : Movement of objects, cold spots and feelings of being watched.

 This was an interesting case. The building was once a home then turned into a funeral home. There is a first floor, second floor, attic and basement. The first floor was basically the parlor area where they hold funerals. Up until recently they had also done the body work on this floor but now they do it at another location. The entire building has been recently renovated. The basement was separated into three rooms which we covered with the HI 8 cameras. Nelson and  Adam had started in the basement and were getting floating spikes on the KII meters. One would go off on one side of a room then the other a few seconds later. They both heard what sounded like a little girl talking in one of the basement rooms but the event did not show up on audio. When Brandy and Christina were in the basement they both smelled a very strong odor of sulfur that moved past them. About a minute prior to that the owner had also smelled sulfur at the top of the stairs. Chucks wife Sylvia watched cameras for us this evening. She was experiencing floating EMF readings in the area we had set up home base. It was a very quiet night but we did end up with more evidence we expected. Our most shocking EVP came from the pre interview the Thursday prior to the investigation. We ended up with one that says " You Know I'm Dead " like he was letting us know. The owner thinks it could be the previous owner who had died just a few years ago. We did not end up with any visual evidence but allot of audio. There is nothing mean or threatening in the funeral home but there is definately something there. Check the EVP page as well as the video clips.

Claims of activity : Strange feelings of being watched, strange dreams and objects moving.

 The case in Irondale was to establish whether or not a relative was hanging around. It was not really a full investigation. We were limited as to what we were investigating this night. The things we did find were that there was a low emf reading everywhere in the house. We had the K-II jump to red several times but not in response to any questions. Brandy felt like her shirt was tugged on during an EVP session and Nelson kept seeing a shadow passing by the hallway. Upon time to review the evidence Nelson's recorder had been completely erased. You have to push the button a few times to get it to erase. However we did come away with several EVP's that just left us wanting to go back and do a full investigation.  Tapping on the walls, toys being played with, full bodied apparition of a child.

We were asked to investigate a home where they claim to have allot of child like activity.The owner had kept a detailed report of activity since moving in. Everything from toys being played with to a full apparition of a child at the end of their bed. The house itself was built in 1904 in an area that has flooded time and time again. The furnace is actually in the attic. The house was also built as a two family home.The basement is separated by a cement wall. The only way to get from one side to the other is through a large hole. We started and realized right away that the acoustics in the house were strange.you could hear from the attic to the basement real easily. It seemed to be a very quiet evening with very little going on. We did end up with a few personal experiences.Upon entering the attic, Chuck and Nelson both heard a growl. Several of us got the cob web effect in the basement when we knew we cleared the area of anything hanging. Nelson thought he heard what was a child in a corner of the basement and got that on audio as well. We ended up with nothing on video and nothing on photos but did come out with EVPs that we could not explain. It seemed like we caught a child a man and a woman on audio. So we know there is something there. We advised the client on different ways to handle the situation and keep us up to date. The EVP's are on our EVP page.


                                           The Crystal Grill Revisited and Private Residence
Claims of activity : Objects being moved in the Crystal.

 We went back to the Crystal Grill at the request of the owner to actual check out he residence. So we set up and decided to do the Grill as well. We came up empty in her house which pleased her. The conditions in the Grill were incredibly cold. It hovered between 24 and 34 degrees all night. It was very hard to spend much time there. We didnt come up with much more than a few EVP's that we have to double check on and some personal experiences. One person felt like he had his ear touched then poked. A couple of us heard footsteps in an empty room. It was very hard to stay focused under the cold conditions. We will post the EVP's if we find they are credible

   The house was built in 1923 and added to in 1960. It was renovated in 2009. It is a 4 room house so it is very easy to access every spot quickly. We set up and began to investigate. Right away we started hearing footsteps in the kitchen. The  entire evening everyone heard out of place noises. Tom at one point had started to feel faint and sick and it lasted for about ten minutes. A couple of investigators had seen shadows. One person had felt like they had been touched. It was a pretty small place and we did not get any photo evidence but we did get several EVP's. Is it haunted? We cant say. Is there something there? We have both male and female voices so we think so. We think who ever it is is just letting the residence know that they are around.

  Footsteps on the stairs, shadows, voices and whispers, feelings of being watched.

    The house was built in 1935 as a school house. We do not know when it was turned into a home. One of the things we noticed right away was that all throughout the house were floating emf lines. Every room had at least one. We could take an emf detector or a K-II meter  and follow a line and when you moved outside of the line the instruments would go down to zero. The basement had a bedroom in it that we focused on. Adam and Nelson had both heard voices at sperate times in the laundry room so we decided to set up a video camera there. We did catch some audio on it early in the evening that we think told us how the rest of the investigation was going to go. In the back room of the house Tom had the tri-field meter spike all the way once. Tom had in the basement the tempter drop and rise 8 degrees in a matter of about 30 seconds. Nelson and Chuck were in the bedroom downstairs and Nelson saw a black wave over part of the room. When we were done we did not think we caught anything but it always comes down to evidence review. We got a few photos shooting down the stairs that look like a mass.They are on the photo album page 3.  Also a shadow of a person in the bedroom. Several EVP's as well. We think this location is haunted. We also think it gave us its level of cooperation right away.
