Private Residence Ofallon Missouri
We received a call from a home owner who's children were being tormented by a large shadow man as described by them. They had been seeing this shadow for some time before we received the call. They called due to the scratching on the children. During the set up everything seemed to be very quiet. This is unusual because most of the time when there are this many stories from a location, we get activity right away. Nelson and Shane started in the basement. No out loud activity occurred but an unexplainable amount of shadowing had taken place. Rob, Steve and Kim had gone to the second floor and had no activity. When the groups switched spots, the both had a few things happen here and there. In the basement there was something that moved and no one could identify. There was an EVP on video when the three were in the basement. Shane and Nelson were trying to communicate up stairs and had the flashlight turn on a few times Shane had repeatedly said you have to try harder to turn it on and keep it on. We ended up with an EVP that apologizes to Shane. We all heard walking in the kitchen when no one was moving. So we ended up with some evidence and no real answers. The homeowners had let us know the scratching had stopped after the investigation. Unfortunately just a day before we went over the evidence with the owners, one of the children was scratched and the other slapped.

This was a last minute case. Shane called Nelson and said I have a friend who is having some issues and has been for some time now. Some of the activity has been disembodied voices and shadows. The setup was quick and we began with asking questions during our first EVP session. During this there were a few K-II hits that we could not explain. At one point Shane was at one side of the place and Nelson was on the other in a hallway. After a few minutes Nelson broke the silence by saying he was extremely dizzy. Shane right away said the exact same thing was happening to him. Shane also ended up with a few light scratches on his neck. There was something there. There is still something there. We did end up with a couple of EVP's. One we can not put on here because it says the name of the person who's place we were investigating. Another one was a NO to us asking it to speak with us.

This was a case where the owners just did not know what was going on. They had everything from doors opening and closing to footsteps to shadows and even a picture flying off of the wall. Before the setup, in the basement Nelson felt like something touched his head and at the same time Shane felt like something was touching his neck. The basement seemed to be where most of the bolder activity was. Kim and Steve as well had strange things happen. Kim heard a very clear "Hey" in here ear and Steve felt like something was touching him and making him hot.Then he heard his name said from across the room. Later Nelson and Shane returned to the basement. They both were experiencing shadowing. Nelson was convinced he heard a little girl and was sure one was standing 3 feet in front of him. Back on the second floor Kim was in one room and Steve in another when they both heard a growl and it came from the room Kim was in. There were a few footsteps heard that night and it did sound as if a closet door had slammed shut, but nothing was found on the DVR. All through out the investigation Shane and Nelson both had a hard time catching their breath. Kim could smell what she described as burnt toast all night. We definitely walked away feeling as if there was something going on there. And we ended up with some interesting EVP's. Talking to the residence we know the activity is ongoing.

The very first day they started to move in, she got a few feet into the doorway and something said her name directly in her ear. The house was built in 1941 and there were no rumors of anyone dying in the house. So we did a full set up and started to investigate. The investigation was a little hindered by a few people hanging out in the house. Shane, Nelson and intern Pam went to the basement first. There were a few disembodied whispers that could not be made out. Nelson walked into a cloud of what could only be described as old time perfume. Shane also walked into it. They were able to follow the scent for a minute and them it dissipated. Later in the evening when the young lady that called us came home, she started telling us about the perfume scent without us mentioning it. We did not experience it again that night. The entire night seemed to be quiet except for a few whispers here and there. We came out with a few EVP's and a sense that at least there was nothing malicious in the house.

We had been to this location before. We were called back because the resident was held down one evening by an unknown force and her daughter had been scratched. She showed us the photo's. There had been a change in the house. A few people had moved out. We took a different approach with the set up and decided that maybe last time we overwhelmed whoever was there with way too much equipment. So we used HI8's instead of the full DVR system and just a few more pieces of equipment. Last time we were here the activity was quite a bit more subdued. This time it was in your face type activity. Almost immediately after set up things started to happen. The house was by no means pitch black. There was quite a bit of light in the living room. Kim, Steve and Nelson were all in there and Steve started to get some intense pain in his one of his ears. A couple of minutes after that Kim and Nelson both saw a large shadow mass pass between them and move quickly into the kitchen. Kim described it as being so dark it blocked out Nelson. So the shadowing was very bold all evening. We witnessed allot of them and they were all different sizes. At one point standing in the kitchen, Nelson saw an outline of part of an arm and then started to smell rotting flesh. The others could also smell it. There were also a few whispers head. Nothing you could make out, but very close. At the end of the night we did walk away with some evidence. It also seemed that in the beginning of the evening, whatever was there was not pleased with our presence and did calm down before we were finished. We will keep a close eye on this place and see if we actually made progress.

Private Residence Wentzville Missouri
This was a large 5000 square foot home that we found was open enough to cover very easily. We were called here due to a number of claims including the sighting of a little girl apparition. The home itself was built in the late 1990's. And the teenager had let us know that she and some friends had played with a Ouija Board in the past. We started off in the upstairs and ended up seeing several flashes of light. It was a task trying to figure out if they were lightning due to the storm or something else all together. Nelson and Steve had both seen a fist sized shadow about knee high off of the ground in the upstairs. At one point Nelson had was in the teenagers room and heard a mechanical tune coming off of the wall next to him. It was captured on a recorder and played for the residence. This was something that the teenager heard often. Shane and Steve had seen a flash of light beside the bed in the master bedroom that they could not find the source of. Nelson had heard someone say "shit" in the master bathroom, but it came out sounding different on tape. There were several more times through out the night that strange things were heard. The teenager was touched on the main floor when the investigators had asked for one of them to be touched. So we did not come out with a ton of evidence, but there was definitely something there. The next evening Nelson had received a frantic call from the residence. The teenager had just gotten home from prom and in the kitchen the oven and all of the burners were on and there were several things smashed. Turns out that the burners on the oven get turned on often.
