This would be our second trip here. The first was an experience and this would prove to be another. We set up and split up. It did not take long before things started to happen. Melanie and Nelson were in one of the barns when they started hearing noises and after trying to find out what was going on they both witnessed a couple of shadows breaking the light on one side. There were noises as well as a few disembodied voices in the other barn. Shane and Rob were in one barn hearing footsteps as well as witnessing the door opening and closing. Adam and Steve were over by the red barn when Adam actually had seen an apparition of a man walking by. We all heard disembodied voices but could never make out what they were saying. All of us expedience heaviness or tightness in or chest when we walked down a trail. Melanie became extremely sick to her stomach when she went down the trail. So we walked away again with a different set of EVP's and we actually got a couple of photos that we can not explain. This is a different kind of place to investigate. And we feel it will yield different evidence each time.

Blum House Collinsville IllinoisWe were asked to do an investigation at the Blum House. This was unique because there were no claims what so ever. We had a full crew and set up. Right away we began to get little noises out of the basement. While in the basement Shane was sitting on a large tote and ask for something to happen. Almost immediately the tote was shoved. Later Adam had temped whatever to do the same and the tote moved once again. All of us heard disembodied voices throughout the night. We had set a flashlight up to be turned off and when asked, it did. We also had several really good EVP's. We were asked to come back and host an event at the end of October 2010.

This house seems to have a mix of activity. Both intelligent as well as some residual. It doesn't take long at this location to start having personal expediences. Shane and Melanie were outside walking around the house when Shane experienced a cold spot that he said felt like his ears were about to freeze off. Adam and Nelson were in the bathroom during a K-II session when they both heard and felt footsteps and tapping on the floor. A little while later, Adam had noticed that the recorder had been turned around. Then he heard a hiccup in his ear. So reviewing the audio from there they had found an EVP seconds after that said " There's Blood Everywhere ". A short time later Steve had witnessed a child sized shadow run in and out of the living room. In one of the bedrooms Steve said he had felt like it was hard for him to breath. In that same room Shane and Nelson had experienced a powder/perfume scent that had landed on Nelson and would not leave until they were out of the room. One of the things that happened was every time Adam and Nelson were in the bathroom, they were able to get the K-II meter to go off on command but it would not work for any one else. Rob was able to get the flashlight to go off in the bathroom. We all heard footsteps on the basement stairs.We all also heard a woman humming and we caught it on several recorders. One of the Halloween props in the living room went off while Adam and Nelson were sitting there. It said "Do worry, I wont hurt you". We know from all of the disembodied voices of children,women and men along with all of the personal experiences and EVP's, this place is truly haunted.

Claims of Activity: Voices, whispering, footsteps, doors shutting and shadows
We were not sure what to expect in this house. During the set up Shane and Rob heard something that sounded like it was rummaging through the boxes in the basement. We split in to groups and began the investigation. Adam and Nelson were getting settled in the basement when they heard a very loud whisper directly behind Nelson. Shortly after that Adam saw a shadow that was about 3 feet high. Nelson also saw the shadow a short time later. Once upstairs Shane joined them in the baby's room. They all were hearing walking in the master bedroom. Sitting on the floor in the doorway, Nelson heard a whisper that said it's cold. In the master bedroom the floor lamp turned on and off a few times. We found no explanation for this and it has not happened since we were there. Steve and Melanie also experienced walking in the hallway. We also had the ghost meter (emf detector) go off and when we asked it to stop, it did. The owners feel that what they have there are relatives and do not feel scared but just a little curious. For as much activity as we had, we did not come out with as many EVP's as we thought we would. We did get a few strange one's.

This was a case where the home owner wanted to find out who was visiting her. Was it her husband, her Mom or who? We started to set up and during we heard several disembodied voices and whispers. We tried to use the K-II to communicate but that didn't work. It seemed like whatever we were dealing with did not want to deal with us.The house was small enough that when we separated we could tell exactly where each one of us was.More than a few times we heard footsteps in the hallway but never set off any of the emf detectors we set out. We did come out with several EVP's. The home owner and her family are pretty sure they know who it is and are not really surprised by what they heard.
