This is a historic location that is well worth the the trip. The ladies that run the place are great fun and know every little bit of history on the place. They run their own investigations every weekend. It did not take very long at all for the personal experiences to start staking up. We were given a tour of the house before we started. Right away several of us were hearing voices and being touched. Shane had heard several times what he thought was children playing during the set up. In the basement in the little round room that held slaves Adam was touched. We ended up with EVP's that seemed to be residual as well as intelligent. We also caught the door to the attic closing then opening then closing tight about an hour later. This is a fantastic location and we will be back again. Everyone should check this this place out. Cheney Mansion EVENT
So we said we would go back and we did. The first time was great. The second time did not let us down. The personal experiences were many. People being touched. Footsteps in the hallways upstairs. The occasional disembodied voice. There were plenty. Unfortunately, when it comes down to having evidence to show, we came out pretty empty. The real reason being, we had too many people in too small of a space. Most of our recorder had tons of overlapping noise. There was no way to sift through it. The Cheney is a great location to have an investigation. If it's evidence you are after, you will get it with a smaller group. But even the larger groups will have experiences that they wont forget.
