We were contacted by Ericha who had come to the DeMenil Event. This is a historic location in Waterloo Illinois on the Kaskaskia Trail. There is a ton of history on this property. It is one of the first homes in the area. For more on the history we suggest you visit it for yourself. Even some of the neighbors had told us stories of activity in the house and on the property. We were not sure what to expect until we got there when we were given the rundown on some of the activity. Adam,Shane and Nelson started in one of the rooms upstairs. There was some whispering being heard but we could not make out where it was coming from. Steve,Rob and Kim were downstairs and they were hearing similar whispering. In the oldest part of the house, the kitchen, there were bumps and thumps all night long. This only would happen when no one was in there. We all took a walk up to the graveyard and checked that out. This is something we normally do not do. It's hard to do anything outside without having audio and video contamination. It was pretty cool at night. We went back to the house. We all ended up downstairs in the main part of the house including Ericha and a few of her guests. At one point Adam had something behind him move and we could not figure out what it was. We all heard movement and footsteps every time we ask a question. It seems whatever was there was staying away from us. Rob and Steve went to the basement where they ended up with the best EVP of the evening. It is a great location and definitely worth a tour. Click the icon for the Face Book link.
